Mostar has long been known for its old Turkish houses and Old Bridge (Stari Most) after which it is named.
During the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1990s majority of the urban centre was left in ruins and the Old Bridge was destroyed.
It was recently rebuilt and many of the buildings in the Old Town have been restored or rebuilt with the contribution of UNESCO.
You will enjoy all the highlights: Minaret, The Old Bridge, Neretva River, Turkish houses and museums, War Photo Exibition and Bazaar.
After Mostar we are heading to the city of Makarska and its famous riviera. Makarska is an ideal tourist centre, its bay is surrounded with the Biokovo mountain and the Adriatic Sea. It is noted for its palm-fringed promenade, fashionable cafes, bars and boutiques. Makarska Riviera, 60 km long, hides some of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia.
The journey ends at 19:30 with the transfer back to the hotel.
